Celtic Trance on the move

As predicted in Billboard, Dagda's progressive Irish music is attracting increasing interest abroad. Celtic Trance was released in USA by Paras Recording Company in May 1999. It enjoyed immediate success, featuring on listening posts in major record stores right across the USA.

In New York, it climbed to the # 2 position in the Irish Music Magazine's top 10 charts. It also scored well in the New Age Voice airplay charts and put in a strong appearance in the AEC One Stop distribution charts.

Variously described as "Enigma on Guinness", "An Irish Deep Forest", "a blend of Enya and Enigma", Dagda's music is certainly striking the right chord. With sales soon to reach 20,000 units, the Paras Recording Company license deal has been extended to cover the rest of the world.
